Description
Rear differential carrier assembly from a 2004 Mazda RX8 with a manual transmission. This differential has a 4.44 gear ratio. This was carefully removed from a running and driving vehicle, and is in good working condition. This carrier was tested before removal, and worked perfectly with no abnormal noises or large fluid leaks. When drained, the fluid was clean and clear, and had no metal shavings or metallic appearance. The ring and pinion gears have average wear, but no chipped or damaged teeth and look very nice overall. There is no damage to the case, cover, or axle flanges other then normal light corrosion. The differential cover will need to be resealed prior to installation, and we recommend installing new axle seals as well. Includes both the halfshaft flanges. Images are of the actual part you will receive. This part was drained of all fluids, and WILL need refilled with the proper lubricants prior to use. Fits 2004-2008 Mazda RX8 with manual transmission and 4.44 gear ratio as a direct replacement.This will also work in vehicles equipped with non-locking differential as an upgrade.
