Description
Complete cylinder head assembly from a 1999 Mazda Miata. This head has been cleaned and inspected for any damage and appears to be in good usable condition. This assembly includes both camshafts with gears and all lifters, valves and springs. The cam journals have average wear, but no deep gouges or any damage that would cause issues. All the threaded holes and mounting points are intact and undamaged. The head gasket surface has some light scratches, scuffs and remaining head gasket material throughout, but no deep scratches or gouges. This head has no visible cracks and no broken off manifold bolts. The camshaft angle sensor delete plug on the back of the head is missing, but this part can be easily sourced online. As with any engine parts we sell, we recommend having this checked by a machine shop prior to use, as it may need resurfacing or other repairs. This cylinder head comes exactly as pictured. Fits 1999-2000 Mazda Miata as a direct replacement.
This is commonly used as an upgrade on 1994-1997 Mazda Miata as it is a better flowing head.
