Description
S52 bare block from a 1998 BMW M3. This block was cleaned and inspected after disassembly. All six cylinder bores measure out to standard bore (86.4mm). The cylinders have some light scratches, wear and water staining in every cylinder, but do not have any large gouges, pitting or any visible structural damage. As with any of our used engine parts, we recommend having this block checked by a professional machinist as it could need boring, honing, resurfacing or other repair. All threaded and mounting holes are intact and undamaged. The main bearing journals appear to be in good condition and when the engine was disassembled it had no spun main bearings. The main caps are all attached and included. This block comes exactly as pictured. The photos are of the actual part you will receive.
