Description
Engine block from a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine. This engine block has been cleaned and inspected. The cylinder bores all measure out to around 86.6mm (standard bore). Each cylinder has some light scoring marks from the piston skirts that just barely grab a fingernail, which has been detailed in the photos. This block will likely need a small overbore to clean up all the issues completely. All threaded and mounting holes are intact and undamaged. All gasket surfaces look good with no damage. The main bearing journals appear to be in good condition, and all main bearings were unspun when the crankshaft was removed. As with all our used engine parts, we recommend having this inspected by a machine shop prior to use, as it may need boring, honing, resurfacing, or other repair. This block comes exactly as pictured. The photos are of the actual part you will receive. It is recommended to have this block cleaned and checked by a professional machinist, as it may need bored, honed, decked, or possibly other machine work performed.
