Description
Engine block from a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6. This block was cleaned and inspected after removal, and will likely need the head gasket surface decked. There is some moderate pitting on the head gasket mating surface between two water ports which has been detailed in the photos. The cylinder bores are standard bore. The cylinders have some light scoring and wear throughout, but do not have any large gouges or any visible structural damage, and still some crosshatching remaining. The photo of the individual cylinder wall is the most scored area of all the cylinders. All threaded and mounting holes are intact and undamaged. The main bearing journals appear to be in good condition, and show no visible signs of excessive heat or any spun bearing damage, and the main cap girdle assembly is included. As with all our used engine parts, we recommend having this inspected by a machine shop prior to use, as it could need boring, honing or other repair. This block comes exactly as pictured.
