Description
Engine block with crankshaft and camshaft from a 2006 Chevrolet Impala SS 5.3L. All 8 cylinders measure out to standard bore (3.780″). The cylinders have some minor wear and scuffing throughout but look good overall. As with all of our used engine parts it is recommended to have this block checked by a professional machinist prior to use, as it may need honing, boring, resurfacing or other repair. All of the gasket mounting surfaces are in good shape with no visible damage. The lifter bores appear to be in good condition with no deep scratches, gouges or any other damages. The main journals are in good condition, show no signs of excessive heat and had no spun or damaged bearings when disassembled. All threaded holes and bolt bosses appear to be in good condition and undamaged. Assembly comes as pictured and includes all five main bearing caps and bolts, crankshaft and camshaft. This engine has a bellhousing bolt pattern designed for GM front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicles, and this will NOT work with the typical rear-wheel drive (RWD) transmission options. This was a 24x engine.
