Description
Bare 6.0L engine block from a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS. This is from a vehicle that spun a rod bearing. All 8 cylinders measure out to standard bore (4.000″). The cylinders have some moderate scuffing throughout, and one cylinder has some moderate scoring, the worst of which has been detailed in the photos. This block will require small overbore to get all cylinder wall imperfections out, but as with all of our used engine parts it is recommended to have this block first checked by a professional machinist before use. All of the gasket mounting surfaces are in good shape with no visible damage. The lifter bores appear to be in good condition with no deep scratches, gouges or any other damages, and all 16 lifters came out with ease and no issues. The main journals are in good condition, show no signs of excessive heat, and had no spun or damaged main bearings when disassembled. All threaded holes and bolt bosses appear to be in good condition and undamaged. Assembly comes as shown, and includes all five main bearing caps and bolts. This block should be checked by a professional machinist prior to use, as it may need honing, boring, resurfacing or other repair. The images are of the actual item you will receive.
